SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Effective Date: 9/1/26

These SMS Terms govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by Everon Technologies, LLC and its affiliates ("Everon," "we," "us," or "our") for the Everon Partner Portal and the Everon Admin Portal (each, a "Portal"). By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages from Everon, you agree to these SMS Terms.

These SMS Terms are part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Everon Communications Consent & Disclosure you agreed to when you opted in. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Program Description

The Everon SMS program sends account-related text messages only to Portal users who have opted in through the Everon SMS opt-in page or through their account communication preferences. Messages relate to your Portal account and the activity recorded in it.

Message categories include:

  • Account & Security Alerts — verification codes, password resets, sign-in notifications, and security warnings.
  • Invitation & Access Notices — notices that you have been invited to a Portal, or that an invitation or document request is waiting on you.
  • Application & Enrollment Updates — notices that an application, submission, or enrollment has changed status, prompting you to log in for details.
  • Deal, Client & Commission Notices — notices that a deal, client record, or commission statement has been updated, prompting you to log in for details.
  • Announcements — short operational announcements from your own organization within the Portal, such as an enrollment window opening or a commission schedule being published, prompting you to log in to read the full announcement.
  • Support Communications — responses to support requests and follow-up messages from our support team.

We do not send marketing, advertising, or promotional text messages through this program. The Everon SMS program is used exclusively for the account-related notifications and operational announcements described above. We will not send you promotional offers, and we will not use your mobile number for marketing purposes. An announcement text is a short notice that prompts you to log in; the full announcement is always available by email and within the Portal.

2. No Sensitive Information Is Sent by Text Message

Everon will never send protected health information, member or employee personal data, government identification numbers, or financial account details through SMS text message.

Standard SMS is not a secure communication channel — text messages may be visible on your lock screen, stored by your mobile carrier, or accessed by anyone with access to your phone. For this reason, our text messages are limited to non-sensitive notifications only. A text message will never contain member or employee names or health information, Social Security or other government identification numbers, bank account or payment details, or commission amounts.

When something requires your attention, we send a general notification that prompts you to log in to the Portal to view the details securely. All sensitive information is available only after you log in to your Portal account, which is encrypted in transit and at rest and protected by secure authentication.

3. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number on the Everon SMS opt-in page or by opting in through your account communication preferences, you expressly consent to receive account-related text messages from Everon at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment in, or receipt of, any Everon product, service, or program, and is not a condition of using either Portal or of receiving any commission. You may use the Portals without consenting to receive text messages; account and service-related communications will then be sent through alternative channels (such as email or in-Portal notifications).

After you opt in, you will receive a one-time confirmation message acknowledging your subscription and providing HELP and STOP instructions.

4. Message Frequency

You will receive up to 10 messages per month. Message frequency may vary based on your account activity — for example, during open enrollment or while an application or deal is progressing.

5. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Everon does not charge you to receive text messages, but standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

6. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can opt out of Everon text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

After you send any of these keywords, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further text messages from Everon.

Opting out of SMS does not close your Portal account or opt you out of email or in-Portal communications. To manage those, visit Account Settings > Communication Preferences.

Certain critical account or security messages may still be sent through alternative channels (email or in-Portal) as required to maintain your account.

If you change your mind, you can re-subscribe at any time by replying START or UNSTOP, or by updating your preferences in Account Settings.

7. How to Get Help (HELP)

For help with the Everon SMS program, reply HELP or INFO to any text message from Everon. You will receive a response with contact information for our support team.

You can also contact support directly:

  • Email: support@everon.tech
  • Web: support.everon.tech (opens in new tab)

8. Supported Carriers

The Everon SMS program is supported on major U.S. mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, and Metro by T-Mobile, as well as other Tier-1 and Tier-2 carriers.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the technical limitations of your carrier and device.

9. Changes to Your Mobile Number

You are responsible for notifying us if you change or deactivate the mobile phone number associated with your Portal account. If you transfer your number to a new owner or deactivate it without updating your account, text messages intended for you may be received by another person.

To update your mobile number, log in to the Portal and visit Account Settings > Profile, or contact support.

10. Eligibility

The Everon SMS program is available to Portal users located in the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement and that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided.

11. Privacy and Non-Sharing of Mobile Information

Information collected through the Everon SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

We share SMS-related information only with the service providers necessary to operate the SMS program (such as our SMS messaging platform and aggregator), under written agreements that protect your information and that restrict its use to delivering the Everon SMS program.

12. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable laws, or industry best practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify affected users through text message, email, or in-Portal notification. Your continued participation in the Everon SMS program after the effective date of any updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Prior versions of these SMS Terms are available upon request from Everon support.

13. Limitation of Liability

Everon and its affiliates are not responsible for: (a) delayed, failed, or undelivered messages; (b) errors or omissions in message content arising from technical limitations; (c) any charges from your mobile carrier; or (d) any harm resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Everon SMS program, except where prohibited by applicable law. This section does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
